Favourite Places For Dog Friendly Brunch

As you well know if you follow me on social media my favourite thing to do when I’m not painting is to hang out with Teddy my two year old Fawn Pug and squishy faced best friend. And one of our favourite things to do together is go for brunch! Luckily for us more and more places are now offering a dog friendly brunch, which is ideal when you fancy a lunch date with your four legged friend.

So I thought I would do a quick run-down of my top three favourite dog friendly spots in and around Leeds. (In no particular order by the way as they are all delicious)

• Salami and Co (Otley, Yorkshire)
   

If you are looking for a healthy and delicious brunch or a slice of Cake with your four legged friend Salami and Co is THE most amazing place. Not only is the food both homemade and delicious but they even provide an entirely seperate “hound menu” featuring doggie cakes, donuts and Puppucinos. They even have a great range of doggy accessories for sale as well so if you are running low on doggy shampoo or fancy treating your pooch to a new collar they have that covered too. Otley is also a lovely place for a dog walk so if you are flagging a bit after a hike around the Chevin, Salami and co is the perfect place for a pit stop! Salami and co was also the location for Teddy's 2nd Birthday celebrations this year. (He got to have a pupcake and donuts so he was so impressed!) 

• Woodland Coffee co (Horsforth, Leeds)
   

Woodlawn Coffee co is actually a recent discovery for me, I came across this adorable eatery on a day out with my mum, sister and Teddy of course. It has a really cool vibe and the interior is absolutely dreamy complete with retro furniture and exposed beams. The menu has a great selection of brunch classics and even include some great Vegan and Gluten free options. I can highly recommend the avocado and poached egg on sourdough and the hot chocolate - it was dreamy! They are also happy for you to bring in your four legged friend and even gave Teddy his own sausage and some water – so he was extremely happy! 

• Filmore and Union (Wetherby, Leeds and York)
   

Filmore and Union is the most amazing place for a healthy brunch with your four legged friend. Locations I have visited include Leeds, Harrogate, Wetherby and York (all dog friendly) although they do have even more branches. The menu is packed full of healthy and delicious options and the Hummus Eggs and Union Tonic Juice are sooo delicious and my absolute favourites from the menu! They also have vegan and gluten free options. And luckily for Teddy they have water bowls out front and always let him have his own sausage so he can join in on the brunching too. I highly recommend Filmore and Union and so does Teddy!
