OUR STORY

Welcome, I’m Sophie, an illustrator, designer and luxury greeting card based in the picturesque Yorkshire countryside.

Since 2015 I have been designing for clients and brands in homeware, textiles, advertising, publishing, packaging design, childrenswear, paper products and stationery. I have designed for and continue to work with wonderful brands worldwide, and the variety of projects I get to work on is one of the many reasons I am so passionate about what I do. I have worked across a variety of sectors including Greetings and Stationery, Paper Products, Book and Editorial Illustration, Packaging Design, Branding, Home Decor and Interiors, Childrenswear and Fashion.

I launched my first collection of greeting cards in 2018 including the first iteration of my best selling 3D butterfly designs, which I have continued to develop and are still a personal and customer favourite.

I was also selected as a Finalist for The Lynn Tait Most Promising Young Designer and Best Art Range awards at The Henries in 2022

OUR FOUNDER

Meet Sophie Brabbins

Hello, I’m Sophie, an illustrator, designer and luxury greeting card based in the picturesque Yorkshire countryside. I work from my cottage studio, facing out onto the garden which really is as lovely as it sounds. (The only slight downside being that my pug Teddy is an avid bird watcher and spends a lot of time barking out the window) but he is adorable and great company so I don’t hold it against him.

Why did YOU start Sophie Brabbins?

I have always had a passion for paper, I am the kind of person who saves lovely cards and meaningful messages. There’s something joyfully analogue about receiving a hand written card. So when it came to launching the brand I wanted to create beautiful heirloom greetings cards and paper products that can be cherished, enjoyed and displayed for years to come.

our products

I take every detail of our products into consideration, this means meticulously researching, sketching and painting each design by hand, selecting the perfect card stock and finishing touches, whether that’s foiled details or a pretty scalloped edge before assembling and packaging orders here in our Yorkshire studio. I am fortunate to have established wonderful relationships with talented UK printers who produce our designs and share our passion for beautiful paper products. As we strive to minimise our impact on the environment each design comes packages plastic free with card catches or bio degradable cello where necessary.
